The Belogorsky Monastery, located on top of a hill in Belaya Gora (White Mountains), one of the main attractions of Perm region in Russia. The Belaya Gora Monastery is one of the most beautiful and the largest cathedral in the Ural region and the seventh largest church in Russia.
The original wooden church and monastery were built in 1894. When the building burned down, construction of a new, two-story, stone church began in June 1902, as the monastery was completed in 1917.
