Coffee Arabica - Rating: Rating:

Coffee Arabica Description:
A twig from the plant Coffee Arabica (botanical name Coffea Arabica) with coffee beans ready for harvesting.
The 'Coffea Arabica', also known as the 'Arabian coffee', 'Coffee shrub of Arabia', 'Mountain coffee' or 'Arabica coffee', is a species of 'Coffea', the oldest known bush. It is dominant cultivar, representing about 60% of global coffee production.
Until the beginning of the 20th century the Arabica coffee was virtually the only type from which the coffee was harvested commercially.
The Arabica cofee is easy to cultivate and thrives in tropical and subtropical climates, in frost free zones with temperatures above 5 degree. In as little as three years the evergreen plant will be covered with white jasmine-scented flower clusters and cherry red berries.
