The Hermitage pavilion is one the most picturesque pavilions of Catherine Park in Tsarskoe Selo, a former summer residence of Russian Imperial family, the Romanovs.
The Catherine Park was found in the 18th century when Empress Catherine I started to build a palace in Tsarskoe Selo.
Nowadays, the park is a part of the Tsarskoe Selo museum complex, situated in the suburbs of St.Petersburg, in the UNESCO World Heritage List. It is a museum under the open sky with a lot of pavilions, monuments, sculptures, terraces and ponds.
